Porticato Gaetano: take off the XXXIII Edition

Saturday, November 20, 2021 at 11 am, at the Pinacoteca Comunale Antonio Sapone of Gaeta, in Palazzo San Giacomo, entrance Via De Lieto n. 2, will be inaugurated the XXXIII edition of the Porticato gaetano, curated and organized by the Cultural Association “Novecento” 23 years in a row. Theme of this edition: “Emergency environment”. A theme of great relevance to which have joined the event as many as 105 artists from various parts of Italy, of which 31% women, which is a welcome increase in the presence of women in the Art where you think that only fifteen years ago the percentage was around 16%. The exhibition, which takes place in space B, the last floor of the Pinacoteca, expresses a widespread concern for the health of the planet that poses a serious threat to our very survival; but there are veiled hopes of redemption: Art, always the engine of ideas, can suggest virtuous paths to safeguard the nature that welcomes us but must be kept in condition to accommodate us.
